He came up with a solution we hadn’t even considered to salvage the situation and executed it expertly. In short order, he fixed a screen door, installed a light fixture, re-caulked a shower, installed molding to fix the cabinet and repainted to match...all of that, and he’s just a super nice guy to boot, easy to arrange schedule with and communicative when I had questions while gathering materials. “This was absolutely a five star experience. I was looking for someone to do some extensive caulking in my apartment and out of the handful of people I contacted Andrew sounded the most enthusiastic about helping me out and was also able to schedule a time that worked well for me. He was punctual and professional, showing up right on time (with a text to confirm beforehand) and was ready with the necessary supplies/tools. The job took a little over three hours; the entire time Andrew worked efficiently and neatly leaving nothing for me to have to clean up afterwards. He was also helpful with advice on how best to do the job I was asking for. I'm in a garden apartment and have been getting some bugs creeping in through the zillion little cracks/holes along my floor/baseboard/elsewhere. A straightforward enough job but I was happy to have someone with experience taking care of this for me as he thought of things I wouldn't have. The cost was affordable and beat out the other handymen I contacted when looking for someone, and Andrew kindly rounded down when calculating the time spent working. Andrew's attitude was notable as well; he was very friendly and affable and also seemed to really enjoy his work (always nice to see). I would very highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a handyman in the Chicago area and I will certainly be requesting his services again next time I need anything.”
